Peace and space are at the heart of our Domaine, a small-scale holiday retreat with a personal touch. We call it a true holiday oasis. Enjoy our shared facilities, including a magnificent 20-meter-long swimming pool, a spacious covered terrace, and a vast estate spanning 20 hectares.
Right next to the Domaine lies an impressive lake, inviting you to engage in various activities. Explore the water with one of our canoes or discover the surroundings on a stand-up paddleboard – both are available free of charge for our guests. Whether you prefer to be active or simply unwind, the lake offers something for everyone.

Our swimming pool offers plenty of space to swim, play, or simply relax. Measuring 5 x 20 meters, with a depth ranging from 20 cm to 2 meters, it is perfect for both young and old.
Around the pool, a charming wooden terrace awaits, furnished with comfortable sun loungers. Parasols provide shade, ensuring you can enjoy the peace and beautiful views at any time of the day.

At Domaine La Barbe, you will find several terraces that invite you to relax and enjoy. The covered terrace is a charming space, equipped with a bar and comfortable seating. Here, you can enjoy a drink or a pleasant moment with family and friends, regardless of the weather.
Additionally, there is a spacious open terrace, perfect for basking in the sun and admiring the stunning views of the estate. Whether you wish to have breakfast in the morning sunshine, read a book in the afternoon, or end your day with a glass of wine under the stars, you will always find the perfect spot.

A Unique Reservoir Lake: Soft Water & Endless Possibilities – Swimming, Paddleboarding & Fishing
Domaine La Barbe borders a large reservoir lake with soft, clear water originating from the Pyrenees. This dynamic and ever-changing body of water fluctuates in level throughout the year due to melting snow and usage by local farmers.
In summer, the water level slowly recedes due to evaporation and irrigation, creating ever-evolving landscapes. Only electric boats are allowed on the lake, ensuring a tranquil and peaceful environment.
For our guests, we offer free stand-up paddleboards and a canoe to explore the lake in an active way. Swimming is permitted and is a delightful experience, though at your own risk. For fishing enthusiasts, the lake provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the serenity and natural surroundings.

Culinary Hospitality at Domaine La Barbe: Table d’Hôtes – A Three-Course Dinner with Local Ingredients
During the high season, we welcome our guests staying in the gîte and safari tents with a delightful three-course dinner on their first evening. This welcome dinner is included in your stay and provides the perfect opportunity to meet fellow guests and experience the relaxed atmosphere of the Domaine.
Additionally, we serve a delicious three-course dinner on several evenings for just €17.50 per person. These meals are prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and offer a wonderful way to round off the day. Would you like to join us?
